We are a husband & wife team. Based in the mountains of Montana & Washington State, we’ve been photographing and filming couples since the start of 2021.
Welcome to our blog where you’ll discover elopement planning resources, as well as beautiful galleries from real weddings!
If you haven’t already, you NEED to check out Day 1 of this incredible Pacific Northwest snowboarding elopement adventure. It started at an amazing a-frame cabin in the woods and continued with snowshoeing a difficult trail for their ceremony. On a clear day, the trail has incredible (and honestly pretty private) views of Mount Rainier. This day was very snowy, overcast, and there was even a blizzard during their vows!
Snowy Mount Rainier Elopement Portraits
After Day 1 where Katie and Chase said their vows, we met up near Packwood for some snowy portraits. Adam and I found this private trail along the White Pass Scenic Byway that was for walking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. We used this opportunity to slow down and let them have some intimate time together.
This Snowboarding Elopement Adventure in Washington Was Epic!
These two love snowboarding together, and they really wanted to incorporate it into their elopement adventure. While we didn’t end up snowboarding as much on their actual elopement day as we had planned, these two were super flexible. So, we met up with them the next day at White Pass Ski Area near Packwood, Washington. White Pass is a great ski resort local to Mount Rainier with 45 total runs. There are 8 chair lifts and tons of incredible pow, especially in February!
A Note For Future Brides & Grooms:
Do the dang thing! If you guys love winter sports, why not have a snowboarding elopement?! Embrace the weather, embrace the cold, and DO IT. Your day should be a reflection of you, your relationship, and the things you both love doing. It doesn’t have to be a traditional church wedding if that’s not your vibe. And hey, we both ski/snowboard, so we’ve got you covered 😉
