We are a husband & wife team. Based in the mountains of Montana & Washington State, we’ve been photographing and filming couples since the start of 2021.
Welcome to our blog where you’ll discover elopement planning resources, as well as beautiful galleries from real weddings!
When Adam and I visited Moab, Utah, we advertised wanting to photograph some couples while we were there. Cody and Wendy had just gotten engaged, so they were super excited to work with us and capture some Dead Horse Point engagements! They were able to get a sitter for the kids and join us for sunset one evening in Dead Horse State Park.
We had never explored this part of Moab before, so Cody showed us around a bit. Dead Horse is one of their favorite places, so it was really special to document them there! They are also both really well educated about the Leave No Trace principles, which was awesome. Cody talked a lot about the fairy shrimp living in dried up potholes and puddles. I knew about microorganisms living in the soil, but I hadn’t heard of fairy shrimp before. They’re tiny microorganisms abandoned by the ocean that hatch when the spring rains come. It’s pretty cool actually!
Anyway, we had an awesome time getting to know each other and carefully exploring the landscape at Dead Horse! Enjoy their sunset engagements below.
We love exploring Utah and capturing couples here. We usually try to make it to Utah in the “off season” when the temperature is cooler. In 2023, we’ll be in Utah at the beginning of May. But check out our Travel Schedule and inquire if you want to go with us to Utah!
