Lake Cushman Olympic National Park Vow Renewal

So, this couple holds a really special place in our hearts! They aren’t the first couple to book us as Venture to Elope, but they were our first intimate wedding of 2021 as a new business! They completely trusted us, and we couldn’t have launched VTE without them and their support.

We often hang out with our couples both before their weddings/elopements and after! We genuinely care about creating connection and following through with the relationships that we build. So, when we connected with these two again to document their adventurous vow renewal, it was a great opportunity to have dinner and hang out.

The four of us started the afternoon near one of the entrances to Olympic National Park. Mare and Abram casually got ready together by their car and we documented some intimate moments amongst the big conifers, while the sunlight peeked through the branches. It was such a calm and peaceful start to the afternoon. We played along the logs and then headed to the head of one of Olympic’s lakes: Lake Cushman. This is one of our favorite elopement locations in Washington! There is so much diversity in the landscape between hiking trails and the rocky shoreline.

After that, we headed to a day use area along the shore where these two said some really special words of commitment. Then, we enjoyed the crazy wind as the sun went down! We finished out their night with some charcuterie (made by yours truly) and a couple drinks! We all went back to our trailer and had dinner while we chatted about life and played games.
