Sunrise Mount Rainier Tiny Fall Wedding

This is the perfect example of a small wedding that is ALL ABOUT YOU. These two had so many intentional moments and things that they included on their special day!

Amanda and Fredo flew all the way from Texas to say their vows with Mount Rainier as their witness! And their parents, siblings, and closest friends came to witness them as well. We all met at Rainier in the afternoon on a weekend in September. It was a bit busy, but we (of course) had a wedding permit that allowed us to use a space for 30 minutes. Amanda’s sister, mom, and best friend helped her get ready. And we even had some deer join the party! Amanda’s mom gave her the wedding bouquet with a special photo of her grandma, which was really sweet. Then, her dad gave her a sixpence to put in her shoe for good luck! I’m pretty sure it symbolizes wealth and prosperity in your marriage!

After those sweet moments, Amanda’s dad walked her down the aisle where Fredo saw her for the first time. They had a couple family members say prayers during their ceremony! Then, they tied the knot! It was so special! Aftwards, we took lots of family photos since this was a really significant trip to Washington for everyone.

We perfectly timed everything so that when we were done with the ceremony we had plenty of private time for sunset portraits! We hiked up a trail with Amanda, Fredo, and two of their friends. We captured a ton of beautiful moments as Rainier shined in the background! Towards the end of the evening, Amanda and Fredo shared some wine and cake to really solidify their special day. It just goes to show that you truly can do whatever you want on your wedding day! If you want to do a mountaintop picnic, GO FOR IT!

These two are so incredibly sweet (along with their family and friends). We are blessed to have been able to document thier day and become their friends! They went on to celebrate their marriage in Seattle the next day before they heade back to Texas!
