We are a husband & wife team. Based in the mountains of Montana & Washington State, we’ve been photographing and filming couples since the start of 2021.
Welcome to our blog where you’ll discover elopement planning resources, as well as beautiful galleries from real weddings!
If you’re getting engaged anytime soon, we highly recommend getting your engagement photos done at Mount Rainier National Park! If you head to the Paradise Visitor Center, you can explore the snow from November to June, the wildflowers in July & August, or experience the fall colors in September & October. And if the road to Paradise isn’t open, the road to Longmire is always available. There are even some great trails in the Longmire area, like Carter Falls. Or if you want something epic without having to hike, check out the Longmire Suspension Bridge (like this couple).
You can bring your dog to the National Park, so long as they stay in parking lots and remain on a leash. That doesn’t give you a ton of room for flexibility, so we usually suggest other locations outside of Mount Rainier. However, this couple really wanted to have their photos taken here and include their furry bestie, so we made it work!
Disclaimer: In the photos below, from this epic Mount Rainier winter engagement session, the leash was edited out to get rid of any distractions.
Check out more of our work from Mount Rainier, like this Riverside Vow Renewal, Backpacking Elopement, and this guide on How To Elope In Washingtons State. Okay now enjoy this Mount Rainier winter engagement session! Hopefully, it gives you a good idea of what Longmire and Mount Rainier look like in the snow.
