We are a husband & wife team. Based in the mountains of Montana & Washington State, we’ve been photographing and filming couples since the start of 2021.

Hannah met Lexi at a workshop way back in September of 2019. She was part of another photographer’s rep team and she was modeling for the workshop attendees. At one of the staged shoots, Hannah got some alone time with Lexi and snap some awesome photos! Sadly, though, Hannah was borrowing someone’s full frame camera, but using a crop lenses. She didn’t realize that the lens wouldn’t work, so she snapped a ton of photos, but once she got to editing, she realized that they weren’t usable. Moral of the story there: use the proper lenses for your cameras!
Anyway, many months after the workshop (aka at the beginning of 2020), Lexi reached out because Hannah had posted a model call on her Instagram story. She said that her and her boyfriend, Jack, were down to model anytime! So, we started planning a fun session that was supposed to happen early 2020. Once COVID-19 started to affect schools and the states, the shoot was cancelled. Hannah went back up to Washington (from Oregon), and it looked like we wouldn’t have an opportunity to see each other for awhile.
Then, things started to open up again so long as people were wearing masks and social distancing. So, we started planning a small trip to Smith Rock State Park. Lexi and Hannah planned a shoot super last minute, but it was absolutely incredible!
We met at Smith Rock around 6 pm and shot for basically 3 hours (taking breaks to change, snack, and relax, too). It was an amazing night! Lexi brought her sweet pup, Izzie, who was a total model. We played a little bit of music and just had such a great time! It was Hannah’s first shoot back since everything was shut down, and it couldn’t have been better. Lexi and Jack drove HOURS to do this with Hannah, but we all agreed that it was well worth it!
Here’s a little clip of what Lexi texted Hannah after our session: “HANNAH these are AMAZING!!! I love them so much 😭 literally teared up when Jack was showing them to me 😭” Then later, she texted Hannah this: “Yesterday was amazing and I’m still not over it 😍 I think Jack was a little skeptical at first when I asked him if he would want to do a session with me, but he was so happy afterwards ☺️ he loved it too and said he would always be willing to do another!!”
It was a great night and we are just super thankful that we get to work with such amazing couples! Lexi even gifted us a date night to a fancy restaraunt called The Melting Pot. How freaking sweet!!!!
