Mount Rainier National Park Riverside Vow Renewal

This Mount Rainier vow renewal was a super special one for us! Adam and I met Melissa and Joel at this cute cabin in Packwood in the afternoon. This cabin is just outside of town and has private access to the Cowlitz river. It has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, and all of the essentials for a little getaway! There’s an outdoor hot tub and a fire pit as well. The cabin is about 30 minutes away from White Pass Ski Resort, a great place to ski and snowboard in the winter. Along with that, it is central to both of the Mount Rainier National Park areas: Paradise and Sunrise. So whether or not you want to celebrate your vow renewal or elopement in the winter or summer, this is the palce to be!

At the cozy cabin, Melissa and Joel helped each other get ready, which was really sweet! Then, we drove to a hike right inside Mount Rainier National Park with lots of trees and a beautiful bridge! We were able to find a private spot along the river to have their intimate vow exchange. Their vows were written beautifully, and their dip kiss was SO CUTE! To celebrate, we popped some bubbly by the river and took some incredible formal portraits. (Don’t forget to find the cork if you pop champagne! And make sure to always practice LNT).

To finish off the night, we went back to the cabin to eat some delicious chocolate cake surrounded by string lights! It was the most perfect afternoon celebrating these two and their unending love for each other. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Not only are they incredible in front of the camera, but they’re just extremely kind people. Hannah connected with Melissa through this wedding where Melissa created a beautiful tropical ground wreath for the couple’s beach ceremony. And we’ve been friends ever since! It’s wonderful to have finally spent time with her and her husband.

Vow renewals are also super fun to document because it’s a great way to have an intimate day with your partner and continue to commit to a life with them.
