We are a husband & wife team. Based in the mountains of Montana & Washington State, we’ve been photographing and filming couples since the start of 2021.
Welcome to our blog where you’ll discover elopement planning resources, as well as beautiful galleries from real weddings!
Before Nick had even proposed to Brenna, she reached out to us and told us that she wanted us to photograph and film her special day. How freaking incredible is that?! So, for months, we talked on and off and got to know each other. Finally, when the day came that Nick proposed to Brenna, we were all beyond excited! Not only did it mean that these two would be getting married soon, but it meant that we would get to work together 🙂
For their special day, we took a forest service road to a lesser-known trailhead in Washington. They got ready in the dirt parking lot and had an incredibly intimate first look on a hillside. They said the most emotional vows, exchanged gifts, and watched the sun brighten the valley below. Brenna’s sister officiated their ceremony, and afterwards, they all had communion together. We snacked, they shared a first dance, and we celebrated the heck out of them! It was so incredibly fun!
On our way back to their reception location, we stopped at the bakery where they had their first date. The bakery was actually closed, but we had contacted the owner ahead of time to ask if someone would be able to let us in. They did (which was so kind of them), and Brenna and Nick were able to sit at the table where they first started to fall in love with each other. It just really goes to show that you can do just about anything on your elopement day, especially if it’s something that’s meaningful to you!
To end their wedding day, they celebrated with family and friends at a cute little home near Mount Baker. Everyone prayed, toasted, and ate some good food. Brenna and Nick had coordinated a bagel bar for their reception meal, which was freaking awesome!
